Judith “Judy” Lynn Galick, 78, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Lightways Hospice in Joliet, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on October 4, 1947, in Joliet, to the late William and Dorothy (nee Sheridan) Randolph.

Judy was a loving wife, aunt, and dear friend. In her earlier years, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, Jerry, making memories everywhere they went. Judy had an extraordinary capacity for caring for others. She opened her heart to those that needed her, always making sure the people she loved were cared for. She spent much of her life putting others before herself, and her kindness and generosity left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate to be loved by her.

Judy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jerry M. Galick; brother-in-law, Gary (Robin) Galick; sister-in-law, Roxann Prette; nieces, Sara (Bill) Prince, Marissa Moazen, and Lauren Galick; nephew, Rob (Judi) Galick; great-niece, Audrey Prince; and great-nephew, Jimmy Prince, and additional great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Randolph; and her brother, James Randolph.

Funeral Services for Judith Lynn Galick will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 Brook Forest Ave., Shorewood, IL, where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Family will receive guests from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. in the church narthex. Interment will follow mass at Woodlawn Memorial Park. As it was her request, cremation rites will be accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
