Robber In Ski Mask Targets Love's Travel Center In Channahon

CHANNAHON, IL — Channahon police are investigating an overnight robbery at the Love's Travel Stop. Police say the crime happened at 2:37 a.m.
According to police, Channahon officers responded to the Love’s Travel Stop lat 23801 West Bluff Road for a robbery that had just occurred. Officers learned a man wearing a black ski mask and gloves, dressed in camouflage clothing, entered the store and demanded money from the clerk working at the counter.
A weapon was implied, but not displayed, police said.

The Love’s employee complied with the robber's instructions, providing the cash from the register. The sped off in a dark-colored SUV prior to the officers arrived, according to officials.
No one was injured during the robbery.
