MINOOKA, IL — John Henderson, a 44-year-old Morris man, is now in the Grundy County Jail facing charges of criminal sexual assault charges following an incident six weeks ago at a friend's house on Minooka Road.
On Oct. 2, a 25-year-old woman notified the Kendall County Sheriff's Office that she was sexually assaulted at a house in the 8000 block of Minooka Road. The victim went to the Morris hospital for a sexual assault examination, authorities said.
The investigation was taken over by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department after police realized the incident happened in Grundy, not Kendall County.
