So You Think You Can Save?

Join us at the Morris Public Library for a free program in partnership with the University of Illinois Extension on savings!

According to America Saves, only 28 percent of Americans are saving the “recommended” ten percent of their paychecks towards emergency funds and retirement. This workshop will focus on how to become more financially secure. We will discuss how to plan for savings, even if it is just a little amount of money each week or each month. We will also learn about the best place for you to keep your money, as it depends on how and when you’ll use it!

Join us at the Morris Public Library, located at 604 Liberty Street, Morris, IL on May 18, 2016 at 6:00pm, for the workshop So You Think You Can Save? There is no fee to attend the program, but please call and register with Sasha at 815.933.8337 to make sure enough handouts are made for each participant.

University of Illinois Extension offers practical, research-based programs that help people improve their lives and address critical community issues involving youth, families, economics, health and natural resources.
