MINOOKA, IL – The Village of Minooka has announced that the splash pads at Summit Park and Lions Park reopened to the public Friday.
Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced last week that the state will enter Phase 4 of Restore Illinois plan on Friday. As part of the next phase of reopening, businesses, restaurants and other entities will be opened with guidelines in place and limits on crowd sizes.
Village officials announced that residents should follow Centers for Disease Control guidelines to exercise caution and use the splash pad responsibly at both Summit Park (250 Rivers Edge Dr.) and Lions Park (8875 McEvilly Rd.) to control the spread of the coronavirus.
