St. Ann Youth Football Lock-In a Kick-Off Event for New Season
St. Ann youth football program director John Krenkel is inviting players, parents and family members to a screening of "Facing the Giants."
John Krenkel recently launched a new youth football program.
Now, in a bid to get everybody fired up about the start of a new season, he is staging a Lock-In event.
Krenkel, director of St. Ann Parish Football, is inviting players, parents and family members to attend the Lock-In on Friday, June 21, at St. Ann Parish Hall in Channahon. The event will run from 6 to 10 p.m.
He is calling the event the "kick-off" to a new season. He still is recruiting interested players from St. Ann, St. Mary in Minooka and Holy Family in Shorewood. And he wants them to join in the fun.
John Blumberg will give the keynote speech and Krenkel plans to show the football movie "Facing the Giants" to get everybody thinking about the start of a new season.
Krenkel said Blumberg began his professional speaking career in 1996 and has presented keynotes and workshops in nine countries on three continents.
