St. Francis to Offer Franciscan Studies Program
The courses will teach participants about the origins and values of the Franciscans, Franciscan spirituality and evangelical life.

The University of St. Francis (USF) Solutions Resource Center will offer a four-course, online certificate program in Franciscan Studies beginning Sept. 20, according to a release from the college.
The courses will teach participants about the origins and values of the Franciscans, Franciscan spirituality and evangelical life and Franciscan tradition in art and literature.
Courses are four weeks long with start dates of Sept. 20, Oct. 25, Jan. 3 and Feb. 7. Students can enter and complete the courses anytime within their four-week run. Each week’s module include an overview, assigned readings from online links and related articles and/or activities from document sharing, online discussions, and a reflection writing assignment.

The cost of the program is $1,000; or $250 per course.

This certificate program was initiated in 2007 courtesy of a grant from the Association of Franciscan Colleges and Universities.
