Stabbing At El Burrito Loco: Minooka Man, 41, Arrested
Channahon police responded to the El Burrito Loco restaurant on Route 6 at 2:46 p.m. for a fight involving five people.

CHANNAHON, IL —A 23-year-old stabbing victim from Joliet was in serious condition Tuesday at the Morris Hospital, and Channahon police arrested a 41-year-old Minooka man in connection with Tuesday afternoon's violent fight inside the El Burrito Loco restaurant on Route 6.
Antonio Zaragoza was taken into custody at 6:04pm at the Channahon Police Department on one count of aggravated battery, and a knife was recovered, according to the police.
According to police: a fight broke out between two groups inside the El Burrito Loco restaurant and continued into the parking lot. Police were called to the scene around 2:45 p.m. and the fight involved about five people, authorities said.

Officers learned that one of the people involved in the fight had a knife, and he got away in a black car before Channahon's squad cars arrived at the El Burrito Loco.
A second black car, described as an Impala, was also seen fleeing the area.

The Impala was located by police at the intersection of Route 6 and Ridge Road, police said. A passenger in this car had suffered a knife wound to the abdomen.
Minooka Fire Department EMS personnel treated the 23-year-old Joliet man, who was transported to Morris Hospital in serious condition, authorities said.
As for Zaragoza, he was booked into the Grundy County Jail in Morris. The Minooka man lives in the 300 block of Deerpath Drive.
