Thornton's Busts 10 Fuel Thieves: Complaint

CHANNAHON, IL - The Will County State's Attorney's Office often files dozens of criminal charges alleging theft every week. But one recent case is different. A total of 10 people now find themselves being charged with the crime of felony retail theft as a result of their visits to the Thornton's gas station in Channahon, 24144 West Eames St.

The court complaint alleges that all 10 people over the past year stole more than $150 in fuel from the Thornton's in Channahon, located along Route 6, just off the Interstate 55 interchange.

Here's a rundown of the 10 co-defendants.

Several of them have been booked into custody during the past week. However, several of them have had not their booking mugshots taken at the jail:

Donnelle M. Ard, 43, Frankfort, taken into custody by Elwood Police on charges of retail theft/motor vehicle fuel, of more than $150. Ard's bail was set at $30,000. Ard was jailed Oct. 15 and posted bond about 18 hours later, on Oct. 16.

Honorio Beltran, 34, 24500 block of West Eames apartments, Channahon

John Dias, 41, Oak Forest, booked into custody by Elwood Police on Oct. 17. Posted 10 percent of his $30,000 bail 24 hours later, on Oct. 18.

Alfred G. Easter, 39, address listed as the 100 block of South 4th Street, Aurora.

Oscar Estrada, 48, unit block of Union Street, Joliet. Estrada was taken into custody by Will County Sheriff's Police on Oct. 15. The next day, he posted 10 percent of his $30,000 bail.

Gerardo Garcia-Saucedo, 40, 2600 block of Canyon Drive, Plainfield mailing address, arrested by Elwood Police on Oct. 15. Posted 10 percent of his $30,000 bail the next day.

Marshon Gibson, 40, 4200 block of West 76th Street apartment units, Chicago,

Jaquan Jenkins, 26, 6500 block of Highbury Road, Dayton, Ohio

Robert Jones, 37, 6600 block of Colaric Drive, Joliet

Darryus R. Prince, 35, 100 block of East Bradford, Joliet
