Three Rivers Soccer Club U8 Boys win Eclipse Select Spring Classic
Three Rivers Soccer Club's U8 Boys won the Eclipse Select Spring Cup held over the weekend in Oak Brook, winning 3 straight for the title.

OAK BROOK — Three Rivers Soccer Club’s U8 Boys won the Eclipse Select Spring Classic, held April 29 through May 1 at the Oak Brook Polo Field.
The Cheetahs, coached by Frazer Galt, the club’s director of coaching, defeated the Bolingbrook Raiders 3-2 in their first match Saturday, then went on to win 4-1 over the Downers Grove Roadrunners. In their final game Sunday, the Three Rivers boys won 1-0 over the Oak Brook Wizards FC, securing the tournament victory.
“U8 boys battled very hard in some tough conditions this weekend — 45 degrees, pouring rain, mud-covered fields — and they still managed to overcome and play some beautiful soccer,” Galt said. “These kids are great to coach but even more fun to watch on the field. They all have a big future ahead of them.”
