Three Rivers teams celebrate tournament wins

OSWEGO — Two Three Rivers Soccer Teams celebrated the Memorial Day weekend with tournament wins at the Oswego Soccer Classic 2016, hosted by the Panther Soccer Club.

The U14 Girls and U12 Girls teams both won the tournament titles in their respective divisions. It was the second straight week the two teams were victorious at tournaments, with both teams also winning their divisions at the Wheaton Wings Spring Classic 2016.

The U14 Girls team, coached by Jeff Lundeen, includes Mia Alessio, Sydni Bortles, Breanna Ciemny, Megan Egizio, Aimee Hild, Hailey Hoge, Kelly Hutchinson, Jillian Janovyak, Sophie Leach, Laura Mascote, Kate McCarthy, Bailey Pubentz, Julia Rayola, Nina Riojas, Reagan Shea, Maria Spesia, Angel Thomas and Sierra Vidican.

The U12 Girls teams is coached by Debbie Rios and includes Elizabeth “Libby” Buss, Kathryn Cichon, Alexandra Cimino, Alexa Fitzgerald, Melody Hamerla, Chloe Johnson, Mackenzie Johnstone, Sarah Kehrer, Cayla Koranda, Cadence Lisula, Keagan Mele, Ciara Miller, Oliva Rayola and Monica Zavala.

Three Rivers Soccer Club is based in Minooka and fields boys’ and girls’ teams from the U7/U8 age group through high school. Players hail from Will and Grundy counties, including Minooka, Channahon, Joliet, Shorewood and Plainfield.
