Traffic Pattern Change on Route 6 at I-55

The traffic pattern through the construction zone on the US Rt 6 overpass at I-55 has changed, according to the Channahon Police Department. Use caution when traveling though the area.

The north side of the bridge is now open and the south side is being prepped for replacement. The lane patterns of both the eastbound and westbound lanes have changed, as well as the lanes over the interstate.

Crews continue to work on the project and all are asked to slow down when traveling through the area.
