Troy 30-C assistant principal earns doctorate
Jessica Knobbe, AP of William B. Orenic Intermediate School, receives Ed.D

Assistant Principal of William B. Orenic Intermediate School, Dr. Jessica Knobbe, recently received her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Francis.
Her thesis was titled, “The Impact of the Social and Emotional Curriculum, Second Step(R), and Teacher Engagement and Perceptions Affecting Fifth Grade Student Behavior.”
"We are very proud of Dr. Knobbe,” W.B.O. Principal Kelly Landers said. “It is quite an accomplishment to pursue and dedicate your time and efforts into continuing your education while at the same time working as an administrator. Her dissertation, relating to social/emotional learning, is an important topic that will directly benefit our students and staff here in Troy."

Knobbe previously received her Master of Educational Leadership Degree from the University of St. Francis and a Master of Reading and Literacy Degree from Lewis University.
William B. Orenic Intermediate School is a Troy Community School District 30-C school.
