Refuse Contract Update
The Village of Channahon’s contract with Waste Management for solid waste (garbage, recycling & yard waste) collection services ends on April 30, 2020.

As such, the Village is exploring other collection options through a Request for Proposal process. The deadline for service providers to submit their proposals was January 24, 2020.
The Village is currently reviewing the four proposals received. A new contract is expected to be in effect by May 1, 2020.
