Woman's Body Discovered In Rural Minooka: Coroner

MINOOKA, IL — An autopsy will take place on Wednesday to determine the cause and manner of death for a 51-year-old woman from Willowbrook, whose body was discovered in a farm field in rural Minooka.

The Kendall County Coroner's Office announced that the woman was found around 4:20 p.m. on Sunday in a field in unincorporated Seward Township, in the 2000 block of Holt Road. Coroner’s deputies pronounced Ginger Urban dead at the scene.

Until the autopsy is performed, the cause of death is pending further investigation by the Office of the Kendall County Coroner and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, and no further information is available, authorities said.
