Work Resumes on I-80 Between Houbolt and Larkin Saturday Morning

The Illinois Department of Transportation will resume pavement repairs to eastbound Interstate 80 between Houbolt Road and Larkin Avenue (Illinois 7), in Joliet, weather permitting, on Saturday, Oct. 18. The repairs will require closing the right lane of I-80 from midnight until about 10 a.m. Saturday. Additional overnight closures on the weekend may be scheduled over the next few weeks to complete the repairs. Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area.
