1 Dead After Overnight Rollover Crash On 1-94

CHICAGO, IL — A person died after a rollover crash in the early morning hours on Chicago's South Side, according to police.

The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 94 near 115th Street, state police said. A vehicle left the road near Doty and Kensington avenues, rolled over and drove through a fenced-in area, according to police.

One person was taken to a local hospital where they were pronounced dead, police said, adding the crash remains under investigation.
