100 Club of Illinois Honors Extraordinary First Responders at Annual Valor Awards
Police Officers, Firefighters, and Paramedics Recognized at Ceremony Celebrating Illinois' Bravest

The 100 Club of Illinois will host its annual Valor Awards on Tuesday, April 7, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the Chicago Cultural Center (78 E Washington St.), honoring first responders who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to protect and serve their communities.
The Valor Awards recognize police officers, firefighters, and paramedics who demonstrate extraordinary courage and lifesaving actions beyond the call of duty. The awards honor first responders who put themselves at risk to protect others and highlight the bravery, dedication, and service that define the profession.
During the event, each honoree’s story is typically shared with the audience, highlighting the circumstances of the incident and the courage, quick thinking, or lifesaving efforts demonstrated. The ceremony will include:

“The Valor Awards remind us that heroism often happens in the most difficult moments, when first responders choose courage, compassion, and service above all else. Tonight we honor the men and women whose actions saved lives and whose commitment strengthens the very fabric of our communities,” says Caitlyn Brennan, CEO of 100 Club of Illinois.
