15-Year-Old Killed, Shot In Abdomen: Chicago Police

CHICAGO, IL — A 15-year-old was shot and killed Tuesday in Englewood, according to police.
The incident occurred about 9 p.m. in the 700 block of West 60th Street, Chicago police said. The boy was sitting on the porch of a home when he was approached by two males with handguns, who fired at the teen and fled on foot, according to police.
The victim tried to flee after he was shot in the abdomen, police said. He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he was in critical condition, and died later Tuesday night, according to police.

No one was in custody and detectives were investigating, police said.
