15-Year-Old Sexually Assaulted In Portable Toilet At Chicago Park
The girl was approached by a man who pulled her into a portable toilet stall, where she was assaulted but eventually escaped, police said.
CHICAGO, IL — A 15-year-old was sexually assaulted recently in a portable toilet at a Chicago park, according to police.
The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. July 19 at Green Briar Park in the 2600 block of West Peterson Avenue in the West Ridge neighborhood, which is part of the Rogers Park police district, authorities said. The girl was approached by a man, who pretended to be her father, and pulled her into a gray portable toilet stall, where she was assaulted but eventually escaped, according to police.
Her assailant was a 38-year-old Hispanic man wearing purple Crocs, a white shirt and shorts, police said.

If residents encounter a similar situation, they should take note of any unique characteristics of their attacker, such as scars, a limp or acne, according to police. Victims should never pursue a fleeing assailant, but should instead call 911 immediately, police said.
