16th Annual “Taste of Fall” to Feature Best in Local Food and Drink

Lincoln Park Community Services Raises Funds to Empower Individuals Facing Homelessness

Lincoln Park Community Services (LPCS) will host its Annual “Taste of Fall” fundraiser on Thursday, October 19th from 6:30 p.m.– 9:30 p.m. at Ovation (2324 W Fulton Street) in Chicago. Now in its 16th year, the event draws 250+ supporters for an evening of food & drink from local restaurants followed by a silent auction music and dancing.

Led by Associate Board Chair Waller Perez and Associate Board Member Lavi Rajan, Taste of Fall benefits the mission of LPCS to empower individuals facing homelessness and poverty to secure stable housing and make sustainable life changes. Last year’s event raised more than $90,000. This year’s partners include Birch Road, Casati’s Modern Italian, Earls Kitchen + Bar, Geja’s Café, Gemini, Moor’s Brewing Co., Nando’s, Old Pueblo Cantina, Starbucks Coffee and Vanille Patisserie.

“We are grateful to those in the community who come out to support Taste of Fall each year,” says Cheryl Hamilton-Hill, CEO of LPCS. “It is because of them that we can continue to help so many individuals experiencing homelessness.”
