2 Killed After Car Stopped In Traffic On I-90 Struck: Police
Five people were taken to hospitals, two of whom died, police said.
CHICAGO — Two people were killed after a car stopped in traffic on Interstate 90 was struck overnight, according to state police.
The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. Sunday on the southbound interstate near Randolph Street in Chicago, police said. The stopped car was hit by another car traveling in the same direction, according to police.
Four people from the stopped car and one from the striking vehicle were taken to hospitals with injuries, police said, adding two of the five were pronounced dead.

Lanes were closed after the crash, but all had reopened by about 7:30 a.m., according to police.
