2 Women Pepper Sprayed Senior In Attempted Robbery: Police

CHICAGO, IL — Police are asking the public's help in identifying two women suspected in an attempted armed robbery in which the victim, a senior citizen, was pepper sprayed in the face. The incident happened in the South Loop on Aug. 15, police say.

The senior citizen was pepper sprayed in the 800 block of Plymouth Court that day, soon before 10 p.m.

Police said at this time there is no probable cause to arrest. They released surveillance photos of the two women.
