A 3rd Party Presidential Campaign With Chicago Roots?

CHICAGO, IL - While talk nationally has surfaced on the possibility of a strong third-candidate for the United States presidency popping up in light of the opposition to both presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump and probable Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, signs for another “option” are being planted in Chicago.

Signs on white printer paper written in possibly a black Sharpie popped up in various parts of the city Friday morning urging voters in the city to consider “Terry,” a YouTube personality from New York City who appears to have dumped the Big Apple for the Midwest.

Photos of the signs have been lighting up Reddit in Chicago, and someone has even created a subreddit just for Terry.

One sign posted on a light post indicates Terry will be the ‘End of Days’ president, while another one misspells a curse word and references Hillary Clinton’s tight relationship with Wall Street.

The background of the photos shared on Reddit indicates most of the signs were put up in The Loop.

Another claims Terry 2016 will be the “Illuminati” president and another indicates Clinton’s “fear” of Terry.

“I’m in Chicago, dude,” Terry said on his YouTube channel ‘Terry 2016’ this week. “I gave up New York City for Chicago… Now I’m in the Windy City. This is so much cooler than New York, look at all those elevators going up and down.”

In the video, Terry is seen wearing a hat with the University of Illinois' 'I' logo.

After a few more “dude” references on his YouTube video, Terry pitches his case for being a better option than both Clinton and Trump.

“Hillary Clinton, you are a joke. Donald Trump, you are a joke. Come to Chicago so I can spit in your face. Come to Chicago and be homeless with me for a day. I dare you. You guys are cowards.”
