60s and Sunshine This Weekend; Election Day Forecast for Chicago Area

A look at the forecast for this weekend and the start of next week for the Chicago area.

Unseasonably mild temperatures and dry conditions are in the forecast this weekend.

Temperature highs will range from 58 to 63 degrees in the Chicago area on Friday, and between 63 and 67 degrees on Saturday and Sunday. Sunny skies and dry conditions are expected through the weekend.

The mild temps and dry conditions are expected to continue on Monday and Tuesday, which is Election Day.

  • Rest of Friday: Sunny. Highs in the lower 60s inland to the upper 50s near the lake. Light and variable winds becoming west inland and east near the lake this afternoon.
  • Saturday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 60s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
  • Sunday: Sunny. Highs in the mid 60s. Southwest winds around 5 mph.
  • Monday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 60s.
  • Tuesday Through Thursday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 60s. Lows in the upper 40s.
