71-Year-Old Dies After Hit-And-Run: Chicago Police
The man was found unresponsive around 6:30 a.m. and appeared to have been struck by a vehicle, according to police.
CHICAGO, IL — A 71-year-old man died after a hit-and-run on the southwest side, Chicago police said Wednesday.
The victim was found unresponsive shortly after 6:30 a.m. in the 4600 block of South California Avenue in Brighton Park, according to police. The man appeared to have been struck by an unknown vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No one was immediately in custody and detectives were investigating, according to police.
