All Lincoln Park Zoo Ghost Tours Sold Out; One Event Left
Those hoping for a haunted zoo experience can still catch one 'zoo'-ky event.

LINCOLN PARK, IL — Chicagoans hoping to take a tour that delves into the haunted history of the Lincoln Park Zoo will have to wait until next year. The zoo said its ghost tours are very popular, and have already sold out. The tours dig into the zoo's cemetery roots and reveal haunted spots on the grounds.
The popular tours are led by Ursula Bielksi, a paranormal investigator and ghost-lore expert. She and her team share inexplicable photos and eerie stories with their guides. The tours are held between Oct.3 and Oct.30 this year.
Ghost-enthusiasts will still have a chance to catch Bielksi in action, however: tickets are still available for her Haunted Zoo Lecture on Thursday, Oct. 19, hosted at Cafe Brauer on North Stockton Drive. The cafe is rumored to have a history of paranormal activity. (For more local news, subscribe to free email news alerts and a daily newsletter for your hometown Patch.)

Bielski is the author of ten books, including Chicago Haunts and Graveyards of Chicago. She has also appeared on many documentaries, and local television and radio shows.
Tickets for the Haunted Zoo Lecture are $29 ($25 for Lincoln Park Zoo members) and only available to people ages 16 and older.
