The ANDERSONVILLE FARMERS MARKET Returns

The 17th annual Andersonville Farmers Market (AFM) will return on Wednesdays from 3 – 7 pm from May 13 – October 21, 2026 on the 1500 block of W. Winona (from Clark St. to Ashland Ave.) and the adjacent AT&T parking lot. Featuring more than 60 vendors, everything sold at the Andersonville Farmers Market is grown or produced within a 200-mile radius, offering the community access to fresh, local food. The 24-week market will feature a variety of sustainability oriented programming for all ages and will also continue to feature entertainment, with weekly performances, cooking demos and dedicated kids’ activities.

New this season is the AFM Community Booth, a rotating space intended to create greater access and visibility for local nonprofits, block clubs and artisans rooted in the Andersonville, Edgewater and Uptown neighborhoods.

AFM is pleased to welcome 13 new seasonal/bi-weekly vendors this year including 24 Karat Bakery (globally-inspired breads and pastries made with locally sourced ingredients), Au Levain Bakery and Cafe (pastries, cakes, pies and savory bites featuring seasonal ingredients), Cafe Tola (Latin American-inspired empanadas and tacos), Cammie Bakes (cinnamon rolls, cookies, cakes and confections), El Molcajete Sauces (Oaxacan style, gluten free/vegan mole, tomatillo and Estofado sauces, tortilla chips), La Boulangerie and Co (artisanal breads and baked goods utilizing seasonal ingredients), Madre Mushroom (adaptogenic mushroom latte and coffee blends), Moody's Market (baked goods, dips, peanut butter, energy balls), Same Sip Coffee (lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, cold brew and other coffee drinks), Sera Dining (Pinsa Romana– rectangular Roman style pizza), Sidekick Ferments (kimbap, kimchi, krauts and other fermented foods), The Tea Workshop (tea blends, hot/iced tea, matcha) and Windy City Shaved Ice (shaved ice, hot chocolate).

This year’s pop-up vendors include Alma Muesli (Austrian style muesli), Banter Marketplace (assorted sweet/savory baked goods, sandwiches, biscuits), Ben’s Soft Pretzels (freshly baked pretzels, dipping sauces), Crumb What May(scratch baked gooey butter cake, biscuits, scones, turnovers), Curbside Bicycles (mobile bike repairs), Dee’s Banana Bread (assorted flavors of banana breads), Dilly Dally Provisions (pickled items, hot sauce, mustard) Gigi's Ginger Beer(non-alcoholic ginger beer), Green Fire Farm (pasture raised, grass fed beef, lamb, ground turkey, brats), Nabala Cafe(Palestinian prepared food and drinks), North Sky Farm (organic, cave aged cheese), Nothing Bundt Cakes (asssorted flavors of mini and full sized bundt cakes), October Cafe (fall themed, gluten free/vegan baked goods and drinks) and Urban Tables (baked goods, smoothies, soup and other ready-to-eat items).

Community Booth participants popping up throughout the season include A Thousand Lives Shop, Bliss and Bloom Florals, Coalition to Save our Mental Health Centers, Delve Psychology of Chicago, Dramatic Chromatic, Elleseewomen, Families Together Cooperative Nursery School, Guide and Seek, Inclusive Funeral Care, Local Pastures, Maplewood Ave Candles, Men's Grooming Parlor (People of Andersonville photo project), Nicholas Holman Art, Perpetual Books, Spectrum Performance, State Representative Kelly Cassidy (sharing SNAP information and doing voter registration) and WFCW Block Club. The market continues its popular Link matching program, featuring a one-to-one match for Link card holders with vouchers good for fresh fruits and vegetables. Link Up Illinois is making healthy, local, farm-fresh foods more affordable and accessible by doubling the value of Link purchases at farmers markets, farm stands, food co-ops and independent grocery and corner stores across Illinois.
