Divercity: Our Lives are Works of Art shows that disabilities bring out our creativity in whatever we do. The show runs May 15, 16, 17 at Goodman Theatre/Alice Center for Education and Engagement and was produced by Tellin' Tales Theatre.
When we face hurdles, we find a way to leap over them, not in an inspiration porn way but in a creative way that gives us an edge in everything we do.
Six writers, performers and artists share pithy solo performances based on their personal stories about living with a disability. They were created in a six-week Master Class taught by Tekki Lomnicki, Artistic Director of Tellin’ Tales Theatre.
