New Sketch Playlist Team ‘Recess’ Debuting Thursday, June 4

CHICAGO, Ill. - May 29, 2026 - Elizabeth Fulton, creator and producer of Sketch Playlist—a weekly sketch comedy show offering Chicago-based writers and performers an opportunity to showcase their talents—announced that the newest Sketch Playlist team will debut at its 9:30 p.m. June 4 show at the legendary iO Theater.

The newest Sketch Playlist team is called “RECESS” directed by Molly Olson, a Sketch Playlist alum, and features twelve cast members include:

Now in its second year, Sketch Playlist performs at iO Theater weekly at 9:30 p.m. on Thursdays. Fulton said Sketch Playlist has featured over 130 performers in 58 shows throughout its history.
