On June 11, Comcast hosted U.S. Paralympian and 4-time Gold Medalist Brody Roybal for a conversation and meet-and-greet with campers at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s Adaptive Sports for Kids Camp in Chicago.
At the camp, Roybal spoke to campers, staff, and volunteers about his experience growing up in Chicagoland as a sled hockey player and offered advice for young athletes.
Roybal, a native of Northlake, IL outside of Chicago, recently helped the United States claim its historic fifth consecutive Paralympic gold medal in Sled Hockey at the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games.
