Barb Bailey’s Live TV Pilot Comes to Copernicus Center

CHICAGO, IL: Did that really happen, or are you just imagining things?

Audience members may find themselves asking that question on Thursday, September 17, when Barb Bailey takes the stage for THE NIGHT THAT NEVER WAS: Stories & Songs, a live TV pilot taping at the Gateway Lounge Theater inside the Copernicus Center.

Produced by Barry Edwards Productions LLC, this will not be an ordinary night at the theater. Madness is in the air as Bailey leads the audience through an unpredictable combination of music, stories, fantasy and surprises that may blur the line between reality and imagination.

Joining Bailey will be guest performers David Meulemans, Jeffrey Segal, Tim Borden and Jay Collen.

Audience members will have a role in bringing this unusual night to life as part of the live studio audience. Guests are invited to dress as though they are attending a Fantasy Ball, although fantasy attire is completely optional. Some audience members may even find themselves invited onto the stage. Who will be chosen and what will happen will not be revealed until the show begins.

The intimate Gateway Lounge Theater provides an up close setting where the audience can experience every song, story and unexpected moment as it unfolds.

Will it be a concert? A fantasy? A night of complete madness?

There is only one way to find out.
