Chicago Home Invasion, Gunpoint Robbery Leads To Arrest: PD

He robbed four men at gunpoint in the Chicago home, police say.

CHICAGO, IL — A man was arrested after a Chicago home invasion Friday, police said.

According to the Chicago Police Department, William Garrett, 60, of Calumet City was arrested on Friday at 12:31 p.m. on S. Wentworth Avenue. He was charged with four felony counts of armed robbery/other, dangerous weapon, and one felony count of home invasion/dangerous weapon, police said.

Garrett was identified as the offender who, just minutes earlier, unlawfully entered a residence and robbed four adult males at gunpoint on S. La Salle St., 5th District, police said.

He was placed into custody and subsequently charged, police said.

No additional information is available at this time, police said.
