Amtrak Train Derails South Of The Loop: Reports
VIDEO: At least 3 cars ran off the tracks near 1400 S. Lumber St. So far, there have been no reports of injuries.

CHICAGO, IL — The derailment of an Amtrak train south of the Loop is causing a nearly 30-minute delay for a Metra train scheduled to leave Union Station on Monday on its way to Orland Park, according to a Metra alert.
The apparent low-speed derailment happened to an Amtrak train as it was entering Union Station on Monday morning, according to witness accounts online. WGN Radio's Steve Grzanich reports that at least three cars ran off the tracks near 1400 South Lumber Street.
Although at least five ambulances were called to the scene, no injuries have been reported so far, according to Grzanich.
