Arne Duncan Calls For School Boycott Until Gun Laws Change
The former CPS CEO tweeted his support for parents to withdraw their children from school until laws change.

CHICAGO, IL — Former CEO of Chicago Public Schools Arne Duncan is urging parents to pull their children out of school until gun laws are changed to "keep them safe." Duncan, a former education secretary in the Obama administration, tweeted the question, "What if no children went to school until gun laws changed to keep them safe?"
Duncan called the boycott "tragically necessary," and asked parents to join the movement. The former CPS CEO was responding to a tweet by Peter Cunningham, a former assistant secretary of education and the executive director of the Education Post.
"Maybe it's time for America's 50 million school parents to simply pull their kids out of school until we have better laws," Cunningham's tweet read.

This is brilliant, and tragically necessary. What if no children went to school until gun laws changed to keep them safe? My family is all in if we can do this at scale. Parents, will you please join us? https://t.co/Yo4wsFuJI5
