Bears' Deiondre' Hall Tased After Allegedly Spitting In Cops' Faces, Resisting Arrest At Iowa Bar
The cornerback was cited for three misdemeanors during an incident Sunday in Cedar Falls.

CEDAR FALLS, IA — Chicago Bears cornerback Deiondre' Hall was tasered in the left leg and cited for three misdemeanors Sunday after spitting in cops' faces and resisting arrest after a disturbance at an Iowa bar, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Cedar Falls police responded to a disturbance at about 12:56 a.m. Sunday, March 26, at Sharky's Funhouse, a bar for patrons 18 and older in the city just west of Waterloo, the report stated. When officers arrived, Hall, 22, was outside the bar, allegedly shouting profanities at the staff and customers, the report added.
Hall, who the Bears picked in the fourth round in the 2016 draft from University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, was defiant as police intervened, and he is accused of spitting in officers' faces while resisting arrest, the report stated. An officer Tased Hall in the left leg as he was being cuffed and refused to be put in the back of a squad car, the report added.

According to police, Hall's eyes were bloodshot, and he was slurring his speech, the report stated. Officers also could smell alcohol on him, but he refused a Breathalyzer test, the report added.
Police cited Hall for three misdemeanors, including public intoxication, disorderly conflict for fighting and interference with official acts, the report stated. He was released on bail, the report added.

The Bears would not comment on Hall's arrest, according to the Sun-Times.
Green Bays Packers cornerback Makinton Dorleant, who played ball with Hall at UNI, also was arrested after he allegedly acted aggressively toward an officer during Sunday's incident, the report stated. Dorleant is accused of trying to grab Hall despite police telling him to back away, the report added.
According to Dorleant, Sunday's incident happened after a bar bouncer wouldn't allow the two NFL players in, the Sun-Times reports.
In his rookie season in 2016, Hall had one interception in only eight games for the Bears. An ankle injury hampered him for much of the year.
