CHICAGO — President Joe Biden will swing through the Chicago area next week to tout his agenda and most likely attend a fundraiser for his political campaign, the Sun-Times reports.

Members of the Illinois congressional delegation were told that Biden will be in town on Nov. 9, although details of his travel plans are still being shored up.

Earlier this week the president traveled to Northfield, Minn., where he announced his “Investing in Rural America” $5 billion package to advance rural prosperity, economic development, competition and sustainability. He is also likely to discuss how Bidenomics and his Investing in America agenda are ensuring rural Americans do not have to leave their hometowns to find opportunity, the White House said in a statement.
