Will You Remember? is a group exhibition from students in Loyola University Chicago’s Digital Imaging class that explores how the Internet and digital media seep into everyday life: how we construct photographic fictions, archive ourselves, and navigate the wonder and unease of technological acceleration. Investigating unseen processes of compression and file storage, the translation of analog to digital, and the latent ways digital tools influence artistic decision-making, the selected works blur the boundaries between URL and IRL. The exhibition invites viewers to consider how contemporary image culture reshapes not only what we see, but how we remember, archive, and imagine.
“Digital Imaging” is a Photography & Video Art course led by Lecturer JaNae Contag.
