Prime & Provisions Makes Its Highly Anticipated Return Following Full-Scale Reconstruction

After months of extensive reconstruction following a late 2025 kitchen fire, Prime & Provisions, the acclaimed flagship restaurant from DineAmic Hospitality, reopens its doors on Saturday, July 18th, marking the highly anticipated return of one of Chicago’s most beloved and enduring steakhouses.

For more than a decade, Prime & Provisions has stood as one of the city’s premier dining destinations, earning a reputation for exceptional hospitality, an uncompromising beef program, luxurious steakhouse traditions and a grand dining experience inspired by the elegance and spectacle of Chicago’s 19th-century World’s Fair era.

Now, following a full-scale reconstruction of the restaurant, the celebrated River North institution returns with renewed energy while remaining deeply rooted in the standards, rituals and culinary excellence that have defined it since opening in 2015.

After experiencing significant damage caused by the unexpected kitchen fire late last November, ownership made the deliberate decision to temporarily close the restaurant and fully rebuild the space from the ground up.

While the restaurant has been fully reconstructed, the spirit and identity of Prime & Provisions remain unmistakably intact. The rebuilt space preserves the timeless grandeur, warmth and sense of occasion guests associate with the restaurant, drawing continued inspiration from the opulence and architectural drama of the 19th-century.

Rich materials, dramatic design details and classic steakhouse sophistication once again set the stage for the polished dining experience that has made Prime & Provisions a longstanding destination for celebrations, power lunches, milestone dinners and unforgettable nights in Chicago.

At the center of the reopening is the return of the restaurant’s celebrated culinary program and the nationally recognized beef program, which has been a cornerstone of the Prime & Provisions’ identity since day one.

Prime & Provisions will welcome guests back with:
