LCCA Fertilizing Freedom: 4-Elements Medicine Wheel Workshop with Ivan Watkins (Part 1)
Art is a Tool for Liberation. This workshop is designed to provide a holistic model for learning that emphasizes a synergistic approach to understanding ourselves, our world and our place in it individually and collectively. Using the Ancient Globally recognized Sacred Hoop/Medicine Wheel Symbol as a model, the workshop embraces all cultural backgrounds and affirms all spiritual and religious practices. We will heal and learn how to consider Art and Creative Processes as Forms of Individual Freedom of Expression but also of unification and the powerful potential for collective healing. The Medicine Wheel Workshop is an integration of overlapping cultural values, artistic and academic disciplines, and environmental awareness. It will culminate in a fun collective art making project, as we explore universal patterns in life, nature and society.
