
The Village of Oak Brook, partnership with Duff Entertainment, Wintrust and CD Peacock, invites Chicagoland to gather for Oak Brook's America 250 celebration taking place Saturday, September 12th, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Village Sports Core Fields (700 Oak Brook Road).
The Village welcomes the entire Chicagoland community to gather for an evening of live entertainment with a nostalgic ‘90’s theme, local food, family-friendly activities, drone show and fireworks display, and more. This is a great opportunity for those visiting the nearby Healing Field to continue gathering and reflecting with friends and neighbors in a community-first environment.

Event Highlights:
- The one-time event, presented by Wintrust, is anticipating more than 15,000 attendees, at the Village Sports Core Fields on the evening of September 12th. Beginning at 5pm, attendees will be welcomed with live entertainment from DJ’s, as well as 90’s-themed live music sets from Rearview, a Pearl Jam Tribute, and Funky Monks, an RHCP tribute, on the ACE Stage until 8:30 p.m.
- Following the live entertainment, CD Peacock will launch an extraordinary display of 300+ drones, as well as a 25+ minute fireworks display around 8:30 p.m., for everyone to enjoy.
- The fun doesn’t stop there however, as The Village of Oak Brook is also offering the Alter Brewing beer garden adjoining the mainstage, as well as a variety of exceptional food and beverage from local Oak Brook and Chicagoland restaurants, like Fogo de Chao, Dirty Soda Shack, Just Like Mama’s, Dippin’ Dots, Hell’s BBQ, Rep’s Place, and more.
- Kiddos will also have plenty of opportunity for fun, as face painters and balloon artists will also be onsite to make the evening extra special for little ones.
Oak Brook’s America 250 event is completely free, with free ample parking available in nearby lots. It’s encouraged that those coming to the event arrive as early as possible to secure a premium parking spot. Additionally, there is a ride-share drop off location for seamless pick-up and drop-off ahead of and following the event. More parking details, including designated parking areas, will be shared in the coming days.
The event concludes around 9:30 p.m., following the CD Peacock fireworks display and drone show.
