In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Taste 222 will be hosting EDLI’s (Entrepreneurial Development and Leadership Institute) Maker’s Mart, a celebration of Chicago entrepreneurs and the businesses they are building. EDLI is a free community platform that connects Black, Latino and Women entrepreneurs with education, resources, collaboration, and the support they need to grow. (https://www.edli.org/)
The Maker’s Mart will bring many of EDLI’s entrepreneurs together at Taste 222’s Innovation Space, where they’ll showcase their products through sampling and sales. It’s a great opportunity to highlight the creativity, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit within Chicago’s Hispanic entrepreneur community.
Beyond the marketplace, it will be a fun event for guests:
- Taste 222 and EDLI will host a special happy hour during the fair
- Guests can sample and purchase products from local entrepreneurs
- There will be a DJ, a lively atmosphere, and a special cocktails
- Guests can also enjoy our Monday Burger+Beer special as well as the full Taste 222 Happy Hour menu
