Event Details

NoMI, 800 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL, 60611

Reservations are available through OpenTable

NoMI, the signature restaurant at Park Hyatt Chicago, will debut HERITAGE SERIES: Japanese Artistry on October 16 and 17. Limited to 18 guests each evening, the immersive program brings together culinary craft, visual art and Japanese whisky in a six-course experience.

The evening begins with a Japanese-inspired cocktail reception, followed by a six-course omakase celebrating the ingredients and techniques at the heart of Japan's culinary heritage. Guests may add a guided House of Suntory whisky tasting. A live vinyl soundtrack inspired by Japanese listening bars sets the tone throughout the evening.

Contemporary artist Dwight Hwang will present live gyotaku demonstrations using select seafood featured in the omakase menu. Each guest will take home a hand-signed print created exclusively for the event.
