Explore trend-setting ideas for your next gathering at Taste of UChicago: Catering Showcase. Hosted by UChicago Catering at The Penthouse Hyde Park, this complimentary event invites event planners, office administrators, engaged couples and anyone planning a celebration to enjoy food and drinks while exploring catering options for business lunches, weddings and private parties.
The showcase will spotlight some of UChicago’s newest dining concepts, including Bahama Shack, the food truck led by Chef Courtney Neal that launched on campus this fall, and Kebab It, led by Chef Maisha Oliver.
Guests can also participate in a Teaching Kitchen cooking demonstration offered from 4:30–6:30 p.m. Participation is limited; arrive early to sign up.
