Chesterbrook Academy Students Donate $1,900 & Dozens of Gifts

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschools in the Chicago area held gift drives to benefit Humanitarian Service Project

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschools in the Chicago area – including Bartlett, Lisle, Naperville, Oswego, St. Charles, Shorewood, Westmont and Wheaton – recently donated gifts to Humanitarian Service Project to fulfill the wish lists of local children in need. Students worked together to collect $1,900 in gift cards, 40 books, nearly 30 stuffed stockings and several new toys for the organization. Humanitarian Service Project will distribute the gifts to local families in DuPage and Kane Counties during the holiday season. Through their efforts, students learned the importance of giving back to the community and helping others.

The Humanitarian Service Project started in Karole and Floyd Kettering's home in 1979 to help impoverished families living in DuPage County during the holiday season by providing them with an abundance of groceries and gifts.
