Chicago Dogs Mustard Costume Giveaway at May 29 Home Openers

Due to weather, May 28 game rescheduled to 1 p.m. May 29. Ticket buyers for both 1 and 7 p.m. games on May 29 get free mustard costumes

Due to forecasted severe weather conditions the Chicago Dogs has rescheduled its May 28 home opener against the Sioux City Explorers to Saturday, May 29 at 1 p.m.. One lucky fan will be chosen to throw out the first pitch and acclaimed vocalist Wayne Messmer will perform the National Anthem. The second home game of the season, Saturday, May 29 at 7 p.m., will take place as scheduled. The Chicago Dogs will “Spread the Mustard” during both games on May 29 by giving all fans a complimentary commemorative mustard costume and setting another unofficial world record. In conjunction with Vienna Beef, all fans attending the 1 p.m. game will also receive a full squeeze bottle of Vienna Yellow Mustard.

Tickets to the intended May 28 home opener will be valid to use for the rescheduled game date of Saturday, May 29 at 1 p.m. Separate tickets are required for each game on Saturday, May 29. Fans must exit the ballpark at the completion of the 1 p.m. game. Gates will reopen at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. game.

On May 29 the Chicago Dogs will be facing off against the Sioux City Explorers. The two teams meet again for the Dogs' first Family Sunday game, May 30 at 3:05 p.m. On Family Sundays, fans can play catch on the field and get their favorite players autograph from 1:30-2:15 p.m., and enjoy $3 bottomless popcorn and soda.
