CHICAGO The Windy City will not be hosting the Democratic National Convention for a second consecutive presidential election cycle.

The Democratic National Committee announced Thursday that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the finalists to host the 2028 convention, eliminating Chicago from contention. The party announced the three finalists on its Facebook page Thursday morning.
