CHICAGO (CBS) — The Chicago Public Schools and Chicago Teachers Union are back at the bargaining table on Tuesday, after spending 16 hours talking on Monday without reaching a deal to end the teachers’ strike.

With students missing nine days of class now, it is the longest teachers strike in Chicago since 1987, when teachers walked out for 19 days.
