Chicago Woman and Her Sister Found Dead at Island Resort Off African Coast
The sisters' family has received little information from authorities about how the women died last week.

A Chicago woman and her sister were found dead last week in their island resort villa off the east coast of Africa, according to The Associated Press.
Robin Korkki, 42, and her sister, Annie Korkki, 37, of Denver, had been on vacation at the Maia Luxury Resort in Seychelles, an island in the Indian Ocean, the report stated. The women's bodies were discovered Sept. 22 in their villa at the resort, the report added.
The family of the sisters lives in Minnesota, and so far, members have been told very little by island officials about how the women died, the AP reports. The sisters' mother and brother have gone to Seychelles in order to bring back the bodies, the report added.

"They were frequent travelers both domestically and internationally," Chris Korkki told the AP on Thursday when discussing his sisters. "They were kind and generous and compassionate and were wonderful people that had a positive impact on a huge number of people."
