Christkindlmarket Unveils Its 2018 Christmas Mug

CHICAGO — Christkindlmarket has released its 2018 mug design, which features a traditional German gingerbread heart. The holiday market kicks off on November 16 and runs until Dec. 24.

"These mugs will warm your heart and spread the love! For the first time, you can purchase a limited edition pack of all three mugs, one for each of our market locations," Christkindlmarket posted on its Facebook page.

The market also has locations in Naperville and Milwaukee.

Inspired by the Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg, Germany, which began in 1545, the Chicago market brings international flair and local charm to the city's Daley Plaza. Chicago's largest open-air Christmas festival was first held on Pioneer Court in 1996.
